Supported Windows Operating Systems

All Qwined.org software is developed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. All the multilingual setup programs are developed with InstallShield for Windows Installer and are MSI packaged.

The target platforms are Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. However, Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server are also supported.

The Qwined SDK is mainly written in C++ with C call interface - with some lower level parts in plain C. The Qwined SDK is certified only with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 with Feature Pack installed. None of the older Microsoft Visual Studio versions are officially supported.

If Qwined libraries are accessed dynamically, any programming language supporting C style API calls should work without any additional configuration.
